How to brew
1 teaspoon of tea per cup of hot water (check the recommended temperatures above) Milk, sugar or honey (optional)

Measurements & ratios
The typical ratio is 1 teaspoon per tea cup or 2 teaspoons per mug

Strength
Like it nice and strong? Instead of brewing for longer, add an extra teaspoon and brew for the recommended time

To serve
If you’re adding milk to your black tea, brew for the longest recommended time. Remember, save your milk for black teas – most whites, greens and herbals are best served straight up

Temperature Tip
White, green and Oolong teas prefer 80°C/176°F (combine 20% cold water with 80% boiling water)

How long will your tea last?
All Teaology tea has a minimum shelf life of two years once opened. However, most of our teas have a longer shelf life well beyond our minimum recommendation

How to store your Teaology tea
Preferably store your Teaology teas in an airtight container away from direct light, moisture, strong odours and extreme heat. Smaller quantities of tea are fine in glass jars as long as they are consumed within a reasonable time period and kept out of direct sunlight

Do not refrigerate
